Pete Lewis Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 if the sump has a gauze stariner across its half level you may need to modify it to take the angled suction filter.we have one on ours without any troublewell having said that there was a great lump of casting snot fouling the pump drive shaft that had been in contact for 40 years there is no difference in the 1600 to that of a 2 ltr all Mk1 blocks are basicly the same apart from bore diameterand early 1600 had smaller cam followers Pete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
