Oil catch tank

Whilst pondering where I can mount an oil catch tank in the Vit engine bay I had a sudden thought (doesn`t happen very often  ;D) if I remove the emission breather valve and replace it with a simple pipe and catch tank will it upset the fuel/air mixture and/or will I have to re-tune the carbs?

If you have massive blow-by and a large volume of gas coming into the inlet from the crankcase, maybe, though it won't include much oxygen as the gases come from the cylinders, after ignition.

I do intend to replace the plastic tank with an alloy one idc, but am just waiting for spare money!
