School haynes manual for my 13/60 herald but to prepare can you advise me of the recommended grease for rack and trunnion lube, oil for rack and diff? Cheers all. yorkshire_spam
For trunnions I used to use (before going trunnion-less) land rover "1-shot swivel grease" as it's designed to replace EP90 in the landrover front axle swivels (similar application to trunnions) but most people will say use oil. For the diff a GL4 spec ep90 or ep80w/90 I think is the appropriate one. For the rack I just use "toffee grease" - a basic lithium molly general purpose grease. Never checked if it's "right" or not. glang
Yes manual says general purpose grease and gearbox/diff oil for trunnions. You can download a workshop manual free here although think its for the earlier but very similar model: Triumph Car Service manuals - Vitessesteve
