Lee1979
Hi,I'm looking at buying a new carpet set and there seems to be quite a lot of choice from what looks like it could be cheap and nasty to overly expensive. Can anyone recommend a set, or give some advice as to what I should look for? My budget is around the £100 to £150 mark. Also, do the felt sound proofing sets make much of a difference? Thanks,Lee. A nice spongy absorbant layer holding water next to the floor panels.. hmm....
Steve Cureton
I recommend the Newton Commercail carpets and you might just about get them for £150 if you shop around. I bought mine from the TSSC shop as with member discount they came out cheapest, otherwise I think James Paddock were offering a good deal. Strangly they cost more if you buy direct from Newton. Fizzy
definitely go for moulded carpets if you can. like you, when i got my first carpet set i was on a budget and had to settle for non moulded. they're nice and do the job, but moulded sets look so much nicer and tidier.
