Was about to post this on behalf of a mate I think poking something in the hole to release the knob is the way to go 👍🏻 Perhaps you need to press harder if the ratchet has seized 🤔 or apply a very small amount of light oil? The light switch has a spring loaded button to hold it in place but the hex shaft and hole sometimes seize on.
