Dannyb Posted February 8 Share Posted February 8 My 1500 short engine free to whoever wants to collect it from Essex. It's done 25,000 miles since rebore +30 or +40, can't remember. I'll have to check my paperwork. The bores are all good and it never burnt oil. The down side is the crank needs work. No.4 big end failed. I did replace all shells and ran it for a couple of thousand miles but you could still just hear it. I'm now rebuilding it's original engine so this one's has to go.
