V8VRRR Posted May 3 Share Posted May 3 Hi all, I'm after a MKIV Spitfire that is not red. I saw one in grey with tan seats - gorgeous but it sold. Red, yellow and green aren't my taste. Amy Wade Posted May 4 Share Posted May 4 (edited) You might be lucky & find a good one at that price but I would say your £5k budget might be a bit low, around that price there's a lot of cars that wouldn't be on the road if they had to have an MOT. I would say ~£7k would buy you a good driver, it won't be one that would win Concourse d'Elegance, but it should be a good, solid older restoration. Good luck with your search.
