Mine has been retrimmed quite poorly. The vinyl has stretched and isn't bonded to the cross-members hence it bulges into a dome at anything above 5 mph and sags when stationary.

Finding a good second hand one is impossible. I have found a reputable company in London that retrims Webasto roofs in something called Everflex which sounds promising.

Anyone had a positive experience getting their Edrose retrimmed?

The Edrose is completed and the result is good. I have addded a strip of 3mm gasket rubber under (and slightly rearward) of the leading edge to form a better seal. We shall see.

I am now in the process of restoring the heater unit. On your blog you talk of a closed cell foam that you used to replace the seals at the front/rear and on the flaps. What thickness of foam did you use? who supplied it?

Any advice welcome.

don't know where you all are located but I use these,

http://www.rubbertrim.co.uk/

they sell down to a metre length and are very good,
north London based. :)

spread the word.

ask them to send you one of their printed catalogues it's easier to match trim and rubber profiles.
