trackerjack
Well Chris Bird finally had a trip in my Sprint round Combe and I had the same in his.Chris entertained the crowds on Quarry and got a round of applause (he will tell why) but I found it exciting!Stiglet enjoyed another blast round, still wearing those leather gloves of hers.I had a smashing day the car behaved itself by keeping cool and running well.I had an almighty scrap/race with a Sierra with a tuned 2.1 Pinto in it.The straight line speed of both cars was very close in the end he went wide at quarry and I kept tight which meant I reached the chicane first.............after that he faded. The Sprint continues to attract attention at these days with many people, both young and old coming up and making favourable comments, in these situations I tend to find myself in a type of ambassador role for Triumphs.Mad Mart was there but this time as passenger and spectator.Stiglet and I went round as passenger in neighbour Micks BMW M5...........if I was not a Triumph fan it would be BMW for me.Scary daughter was there in her Saab but the car was crap........but she enjoyed it.Some short vids later.
