Chriss
Hi AllKevin from TR Register has sent me details of a TD that they are running at Combe on Weds 5th October. I know that is a bit close to the RBRR, but for those interested or those that want to use another marque of car this could be a good day. Anyone interested please indicate in other entries in this thread and follow the instructions that Kevin provides.Kevin writes:"As you may have seen in TR Action #292, we’re running another track day at Castle Combe on Wednesday 5 October This will be another “mainly” Triumph track day. All four wheel Triumphs or their derivatives will be welcome, but in addition TR Register members may bring their other classic along should they wish. And the definition of classic we’re using here is anything over 25 years old.Once again we’ll have special sessions for the less confident drivers and this time there will be free tuition from the more experienced drivers should anyone want it. So this is an excellent opportunity to let your partner, family or friends have a go. And with a greater variety of cars on the circuit, it should make spectating interesting as well. Booking is via the TR Register shop http://www.tr-registershop.co.uk/castle-combe-track-day---wednesday-5th-october-2016-9829-p.asp and the cost is £110 / car and first driver with an additional £10 for each driver and / or passenger. Alternatively you can book via the office 01235 818866, speak with Jo or Sue.Any questions?Best wishes and hope to see you there.Kev Programme7.30 Café open for breakfast 7.50 signing on opens8.00 noise testing begins8.30 drivers’ briefing9.00 Group A sighting laps and track time9.20 Group B sighting laps and track time9.40 Group C sighting laps and track time10.00 Group D sighting laps and track time10.20 Group E – up to 12 less experienced drivers from any group sighting laps and track time10.45 Group A track time11.00 Group B track time11.15 Group C track time11.30 Group D track time11.45 Group E – up to 12 less experienced drivers from any group track time12.00 Group A track time12.15 Group B track time12.30 Group C track time12.45 Group D track time1.00 LUNCH2.00 Group E – up to 12 less experienced drivers from any group track time2.20 Open pit lane5.00 Track closes "

Kevin Bryant
Looks like the weather is going to be very good, so please come along. The Tavern Cafe will be open from 7.00am with most drivers arriving between 7.30 and 8.00am The driver briefing will take place at 8.30ish and the cars on the track at 9.00. There will be a break for an hour around midday to feed and water the marshals and the track action will finish at 5.00pm We've a good variety of cars, there's no entry fees for spectators and dogs are allowed but must be kept on their leads at all times. The cafe serves decent food and the banter is excellent. You still have a few hours to book if you wish to drive or if you are reading this on Monday, call the TR Register office and speak to Jo or Sue. Hope to see you there. best wishes Kev
