hi. i have a dype overdrive and im looking for a prop i had 1 of a spit but the flange is bigger on the gearbox. the spit prop i was given is the same size flange as my 1360 prop is there a diffrence in flanges od box and non od box from a spit. i now the prop is to sort i just want the prop flange

spit 1-3 had small flanges on the box, mkIV/1500 large flanges.
All heralds (origiginally!!! some have been swapped) had small flanges on the diff.
You probably have a mkIV spitfire box, and to fit that you will need a propshaft from a  non-overdrive vitesse, to get the correct length. The spiotfire one will be too short, see

You can change the flanges between large and small. The U/J's are the same.

If you get a Vitesse prop you will need a small flange at the rear.
