bazza Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 can anyone tell me where to get a power steering pipe for my stag ( rover v8 ) from the pump to the fist knuckle join all i can find are HP/LP pipes but these are not the right shape.If not can i make one from copper pipe (what size pipe etc)cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I did a power steering conversion on my Land Rover 90, despite using the correct high pressure flexible hose the jubilee clips that I used were just unable to cope with the pressures involved and would blow the pipe of the correct swaged/fir tree fittings. I went to our local hydraulic repair place (for fork lift trucks etc.) and they made me up a pipe to fit that was guaranteed to take the pressure - and no problems since.Ted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
