The zetec engine has a cradle mount at the left hand end (what will now be the front) and I was going to bodge (sic) some brackets to go between that and some standard spitfire mounts on the turrets. Any wise and wonderfulr words of advice for me???P.S. I got my custome intake manifold for my motorbike throttle bodies back yesterday - sweet !!! the_nutter Posted March 11, 2008 Share Posted March 11, 2008 The turrets are effectively braced using the engine so it's important, as you intend, to keep the engine mounted on them. I know others have taken mounting points direct to the chassis rails, but I believe they usually put in additional bracing to stiffen the turrets.Good luck.
