D type overdrive

Today we finally installed the spitfire d tye overdrive box into my herald 1200 (spitfire Mk 4 engine)....Question;- do I have to drain the oil from the o/d unit as I notice there is a drain plug? I've already changed the gearbox oil;is this enough?

the OD and gearbox share the same oil ,but to drain it needs its own plug so there is a drain on the Od and a drain on the gearbox case  but only one level filler  Pete

use ep90 gl4 spaec oil
