spits
Hello, I posted this in the Spitfire forum but since the Lucas motor was used more universally, I thought I'd try my luck here as well. I've been rebuilding my Spitfire's Lucas DR3A (single speed) wiper motor and ended up with a 'spare part'. I've got a 1/4" I.D. star washer that I can't recall the source of. I'm not finding it referenced in any of the exploded diagrams or the photos that I shot before / during disassembly. One possible location is under the armature end float adjustment screw (?) Any thoughts or if anybody has one lying around to take a look at would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Paul
Steve Cureton
I think that's just a shake-proof washer, probably from the earth wire connection.
