Pickup
Hi,i've been asked to have a look at a Stag belonging to a friend of a friend of a friend it's a 1995 model and the electric windows aren't working. There's a row of fuses in the engine bay which are all OK (continuity & volt drop tested). Under the passengers dash there's some relays (but no obvious fuses).Does anyone know is there a separate fuse for the electric windows if there is where is it if there isn't which fuse supplies the electric windows which relay - if any - is usedThanks in advanceFraser
Andrew Lacey
There is a curcuit breaker for the electric windows located where the relays are, it is a small white thing on the end of grey and grey/green wires, (sorry only way to explain it).Try to see if this is where the fault lies. hope this is of help to you.Andrew

Jason
Did you know that if you're in an SD1 and the circuit breaker trips because say you have the seat belt stuck in the window, then it takes exactly the same amount of time for you to find the owners hand book, look up where the trip is, pull the glove box apart and reset is as it does for the car wash brushes to get to your screen and the soapy spray to hit you in the face at just that exact time - close but I still got wet - well more soapy.
