Paul318UK
Hi,Does anyone know of a brake pad brand that is high friction/ fast waring to reduce pedal force? alternatively has anyone fitted the Wilwood calipers and does that reduce the pedal force or just more ultimate bit?Paul
JonB67
If your brakes are in good condition, and all you want is a softer pedal feel; how about a remote servo?GT6 had one in the end... although the Girling servo is not longer available... but for £150 you can get a new lockheed similar to what wa fitted on a raft of cars back in the day, inc the mini cooper and MGB amongst others.http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/cgi-bin/rimmer?findpart&PartID=RH5272&Page=triumph/gt6/brakesSome fitting intructions athttp://www.nsra.org.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13193Jon
Paul318UK
As it happens I have a remote servo unit sitting in the garage, nearly new and pulled out of a reliant scimitar. Its just that I have a late spitfire with a split dual brake system which will make things very complicated!Soft pads would be the quick fix if I can identify which ones,Paul
