There is a pressing, with rubber seal and gasket, held by four bolts(you can just see one in pic ) That should stop the grease coming from the large roller bearing in the hub The seal may have gone or just over full Remove axle nut and washer Use puller to remove flange with wheel studs Undo four tabbed washers and four bolts holding the pressing with seal Clean and check for damage/replace if necessary Replace all in reverse If shoes only SLIGHTLY contaminated.............dispose and replace Clean drum and replace

I am in the middle of trying to convince a trade supplier ,to attend a checkpoint, with general essentials for the entrants For example, oil,plugs etc They supply to us on a trade account ,such things as above and,dizzy caps,bulbs,starters and specialised items They COULD carry basic items and supply at a low cost if entrants were stuck IF I can persuade them into attending, all it would mean is asking at the checkpoint for the trade account number,signing their paperwork and giving car number and a discount is given.   19. Well the Spitfire has had a test run to Hull and back and now seems fine
  20. Spitfire nearly put back together....two others still being worked on......(scared)
