Friday night RBRR Checkpoint
Stuart Wilson replied to mark spit's topic in Round Britain Reliability Run (RBRR)
I'm guessing the route will be up the A68 so plenty places to see everyone go past, the roundabout at Stagshaw, the junction of the A68 and the B6318 military road might be a good place. Just an idea -

Who's got what to do for 2012?
Stuart Wilson replied to Radders's topic in Round Britain Reliability Run (RBRR)
why? -
I'm thinking about getting them for the drive/spot lamps as thought be easier to take out if I do a road rally as not allowd them for those.
-
I'm looking at using a TR7 one on the sprint. Reason being the sprint one is playing up every now and again, the one I have on the 7 is fine. So thought about swapping them over for the RBRR. I'll investigate this weekend.

I've posted this question in the technical section and had no reply so thought i'd try here. Is the starter motor on a TR7 the same as one on a sprint engine?

Stuart Wilson replied to Radders's topic in Round Britain Reliability Run (RBRR)
after being out in the TR again last night, couple of jobs to do. Starter motor not always working, tick over needs adjusting as a bit low, o/s headlamp drops very slightly while driving. But other than that it seems to be going well. -

I know we'll see the road book in a couple of weeks but could you tell me what the format is? Myself and Chris are used to tulips when we are rallying but can manage just about anything. -

Fresh car collected on Saturday, all seems ok with it other than the fuel gauge reading full all the time. It's going to get at least an oil change this weekend. -

Collect the car from the body shop this afternoon after having welding work done. But I've actually bought another car which I'm now planning on using. I collect it on saturday. -

Accommodation near Plough
Stuart Wilson replied to mikew's topic in Round Britain Reliability Run (RBRR)
I've booked a premier inn or travelodge not to far away, booked for both the thursday and sunday nights. Booked it when I put the entry in so think I'm paying less than £50 in total :) 8)
