    I'll put some pics and info of the engine I'm starting to build for my Nova rally car. I know it's not a triumph but thought some might like to see. Bare block ready for painting

    Next Hexham 12 car is planned for Wednesday 24th April. The start for this one is the village of Wylam with the finish venue being The Swinburne Arms in Stamfordham. Once I've got the regs and entry form I'll post them on here.

    another succesful event last night. We finished 6th, which quite happy with considering we had a couple of mistakes. Again I wasn't out in the TR but in the Calibra, maybe the TR for the one in April.

    Problem sussed out. The  gearstick has been cut and shortened, its actually been sleeved, but instead of welding it it's been stucktogether with an araldite type product. This has failed so I'll be welding it.

    I'll investigate tomorrow,  I tried to lift and push. The gearstick is not the best, its been cut and joined. Is there anything that could prevent it going in, selector fault etc? Cheers

    Well I've had the Moss Roadster started and taken it out for a quick run round the village. Problem I appear to have is I've not got reverse, 1st to 4th no problem. May be a silly question but where should reverse be? The gearbox is from a later spitfire, that is the info I have. Any idea what the fault could be? Cheers

    well my rocker cover is bright green........... but i'm not sure on block colour yet possibly the same or maybe just black. I know it's not a triumph but I'll maybe post some pictures on here as I've got some very nice shiny omega pistons and some steel rods. Just a shame they are hidden away  ;D

    The February 12 car was a good one, I even entered but not in the TR. The next Hexham one is wed 20th March, again if people want regs/entry form let me know. Tynemouth Motor club are also organising a 12 car event, this is being held on sat 9th March, same with this one let me know if you want details and I'll either send them on or put you in touch with the relevant person

    I'm busy getting sorted for my engine build for my Nova rally car. I'm wanting to paint the block, any preferred paints? anything fancy I should be buying? any particular brands do a good choice of colours? cheers

    The January 12 car was cancelled due to the snow. The February one is on saturday 23rd. Anyone want any info get in touch

    for good quality british made competition seats you can't go far wrong with www.motordrive.com first class service. If you go along and see them they will make the seat fit you by adjusting/adding padding. They are now also doing there own brand in belts. I'm not connected to the company just a very happy customer
