We made it!!!
Stuart Wilson replied to Stuart Wilson's topic in Round Britain Reliability Run (RBRR)
We're putting the missfire down to fuel contamination. Either dodgy fuel from Scotland or possible rust/residue in the tank -
As Chris has said we did make it to the end. Thank you for all the help

Yes it was our first RBRR, even with the problems it was enjoyable and the support and help from others was fantastic. We will be back I'm sure -

As first timers we found the route very good. No real problems with the controls, Edinburgh Airport could have done with some sort of signage to point you in the right direction. -
Well after the problems we had we managed to get all the way round. It was certainly a good experience. Other than the missfire we had from the top end of Scotland to the Severn bridge we had a good run. We're putting it down to fuel. Must say a big thank you to all those who helped us out with advice, parts and encouragement to continue. If the people who lent us parts can message me their address so I can return the parts. sorry to hijack the thread. What problems do people have with bleeding the clutch? I'm thinking of renewing the fluid in mine this weekend before I do the RBRR, any tips would be helpful.

it's the low flying haggis you have to watch out for, buggers to catch or shoot but more tasty than the normal. ;D 8) There are great views from Carter Bar, but I'm guessing at midnight there will not be much to see. -
