thebrookster
Hey guys, it would look like I shall be picking up a free sprint in the next few days. however as it has sat for several years it may take some work to get it onto a trailer!!I am led to believe it has a flat tyre, my question here is will a spitfire wheel fit on instead?? If it will all I want to do is slap the spare tyre from my spitfire on to get it onto the trailor, and then off again once it reaches the driveway so clearance etc is unlikely to be an issue. I certainly will not be driving it anywhere!!Cheers,Phil
Clive
Yep, stud spacing the same. Only niggle is that IF it is fitted with 7/16" studs I am not sure if the sprint wheelnuts will tighten up against a steel wheel. Some washers may be required. If they are 3/8 pinch a couple of nuts off the spitfire if it to winch it on a trailer.
