Ryan
http://www.auskellian.com/paul/1500gallery_files/image011.jpgI wasn't sure, but I think these are TR7 wheels? Does anyone know if they need anything extra to fit on the spitfire. Were they common? Where could I get some?Thank You. :)
mikeyb
They look like TR7 steels to me but with Spitfire centres. Stud spacing will be the same but not so sure about the offset. Got an odd one up the barn - if no one comes up with the info sooner, I'll be up there sometime next week and will try to measure it. As to sourcing some - guess Robsport will have em (if not weighing them in!) as they have loads of 7's for breaking.
Beans
Indeed look like TR7 steel wheels (5.5Jx13")The nuts/studs on a TR7 have metric thread (M12-1,5). So the boltholes will have a slightly larger diameter than your average Spitfire. They do have the same PCD (4 x 3,75") as the SpitfireThe wheel offset for a TR7 is 25 mm, don't know how much that is for the Spitfire. As all the early TR7's and quiet a lot off the later ones where on steel wheels there should be more than enough around.I have two sets lying around which don't fit over my brakes ........... mikeyb
Yep I can only count 8 on the Spit and nine on the Dolly, so I'll stick with TR!Dolly wheels def have a different offset to a Spitty too.
