Engine Needed - Help

Hi All

Does anybody have a good TR7 engine that they want to sell. Mine has a blown head gasket and needs a new waterpump and I do not want to have to do these jobs.

If the engine is still attached to a car that is OK as I can arrange a transporter.

As my name suggests I live in worcester but can travel for a nice trip out!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I want to start using her again

I know just how you feel Stephen.  I just bought one on e-bay.  If you look you will see that they come up every few weeks.  So long as it is running ok prior to a V8 conversion or scrap due to rust it should be alright.

Although it is a more expensive option, the TR7 specialists often have good used engines for sale too (Robsport or S&S) and the spares events are worth a look too.  At Stoneleigh this month there were a couple of reasonably priced TR7 motors.

I am picking the engine up from Weymouth tomorrow afternoon and hiring an engine crane on the way home.

I will post to the board on Monday when my flying purple wonder will be back on the road - well almost!
