James
Twin HS2 SUs off of a Spitfire is probably the option to go for... simple swap...
C Mallock
Have done the swop on mine. Twin HS4 SU (1 1/2) are slightly more popular on the bay but i fitted Twin HS2 (1 1/4) and works a treat
Jason
Denis - why? What are you trying to achieve? On a standard engine twin carbs will probably give you increased fuel consption, increased tuning hassle, the new job of balancing and cost more . They will make your engine bay look sportier and will keep you occupied in fitting them. On a standard engine there's little point unless you're improving the exhaust too. Denis
Hi guys, thanks, the only reason really is that the single carb on it now is playing up and I thought whilst shelling out for another I would go down the sportier route, Jason, yor bang on in that the look is much sportier and to be honest cosmetically I just fancied themCheers
