philheys100 Posted January 10, 2014 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Hi Guys,I am trying to fit my silencer box on my Triumph Spitfire 73 mk4, its been a while since I removed it and I have forgot how the straps fit, please see pictures.I have two strips one short and one long and also a clamp fitting, I have got it positioned up but the holes that are currently drilled out in the boot do not line up, any ideas or better still pictures please.Thanks Phil Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PhilD Posted January 10, 2014 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Phil,I do not think either of those straps are correct for a Mk4 Spitfire, from memory the long one was a rootes group strap which the 2 ends holes were bolted to the floor and the centre one used to hang the exhaust.
