Ludwig
I've lost a pin from one of my Early Spit/Herald type boot hinges, and am trying to remove one from an old hinge as a replacement . Any hints as to how to remove it? Don't fancy buying a new pair of hinges for the sake of a pin!!!!! The pin [according to my mk3 parts book] was available as a spare item so......Yours hopeful.....Alex
Velocita Rosso
MK1/2/3 Spit hinges, one side you see the pin head, the other is blindThe only way you can get the old pin out is to drill from the `open` sideIf the pin is out then its simple to replace...but that`s easy !Just use a new pin ...........the same size as a good quality wire coat hanger
