I am having some problems tracking down the reason why the indicators and brake lights don't work on my newly aquired 1360. last offically on the road in 1991 I am close to getting the car road worthy but the brake lights and indicators won't work.
all other electrics work.
all the wires seem to be correct and connected, there is no noise from the flasher unit.
is there a fault that would affect both? a fuse perchance ?
again though I don't have a manual at present.
I have noticed that the voltage regulator has a terminal not used which has a broken connector still attached, it has 2 connectors with white wires, one a double the other a single and a third that is green/dark green, should there be another connection ?
any advice is welcomed
thanks

windscreen wipers work as does fuel gauge, heater fan etc,, side and headlights work too. I have bypassed the brake light switch and still nothing. I will have to check all earths etc then,
thanks for the quick replys

All sorted !
Indicators were a defunct flasher unit and brake lights were 2 dodgy bulbs...
I was assuming it was something more difficult, always start with the obvious it seems.
Now I have all the electrics working, great news.
thanks
