pimp my vit Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 Only you can know if you fitted it the wrong way round, should be the negative side of battery to earth point normally just next to battery, battery will be marked + and - or Pos and Neg. best thing to do is make sure it fitted correct and then start it and see if its charging.....good luck. First error I ever made with my first Spitfire (other than buying it), couldn't leave it alone so removed the battery.... then replaced it back to front and fried the alternator.
