Wiring Pioneer DEH P77 MP

S'what I thought. You want to make sure the Pioneer unit is dead or alive by bench testing it. If you can't connect it up to 12volts and get it come alive then it may be dead! You should be able to connect the leads and get it to light up (etc). All you need is 12v. earth aerial feed and a speaker.

If it is faulty then either send it to Pioneer or a good auto-alectric place that may be able to sort you out. Do not go anywhere near Halfords with it.

Cheers for the help Dicky Blighter and Neilnaz!

I just figure Halfords as the Pioneer web site states it as a Certified Service Centre  :-/

I am not sure Pioneer have an e-mail address I can contact, but I will visit their web site again to see if I can contact them in some way to have it sent to them.

Thanks again,

David
