PVFCC7
I am new. I have a 1979 TR7 drop top for 10 years now. Just finished redoing the fuel system (tank, sending unit, pump, rebuilt carbs) and some other things. Problem is the low fuel lamp stays lit, all the time. It did this before the work,, Oh well.Anyway, can't find the darn relay to swap out or disconnect the lead to the lamp.Anyone know where that is?BTW I live in Maryland USA. Raider
I don't think you'll be able to disconnect the lead to the lamp at the dashboard as it's a printed circuit board type. You could disconnect at the tank if you are OK getting under thecar on a ramp/lift.Regarding a relay - I am not sure there is one but then this is a job I have never had to do.Hopefully someone more knowledgabe than me will be along in a while :)
PVFCC7
Thanks for the reply Raider. My wiring diagram shows a relay, but it looks like I could disconnect at the tank. I will try that. Thanks
