CRAJ Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 In the latest issue of Club Torque I noticed the reprints of 2500S roadtests from 1975, much to my surprise under Consumption and again under Specification it lists engine oil as SAE 10w/40.So am I and many others wrongly clinging on to 20w/50 in our sumps?Colin Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Spitfire2500 Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Owners Handbook lists mostly 20W/50 for UK climate but includes one 10W/50 (Mobileoil Super).10W/50 and 10W/30 listed for cold climate and 5W/20 listed for very cold climate.
