gambo76
I have just re wired my ignition key as I think it was wired up wrong as the aux key was not working. I seem to have a extra wire going to it, colour of mainly white with a thin stripe of either brown or purple?. all the other wires seem to be there as the diagram shows. any clues as to what this does please. thanks
RobPearce
The standard set of wires on the ignition key are: - brown (battery feed) - white (ignition switched) - white with red (starter solenoid) The aux connection is not used unless you have a radio, except on some cars where it supplies the heater fan. I don't recognise the colour combination you quoted.
