It's a chromed thingy with dimples. If you don't have a suitible tool try some pliers but wrap them in something to protect the chrome. When it's off it pulls out from behind the dash. heraldcoupe Posted October 5, 2007 Share Posted October 5, 2007 The boot lock is often well corroded and is reluctant to move. Soak it in plus gas/diesel/whatever for a couple of days see if it helps. Silly question - is the broken key the right one for the lock?Cheers,Bill.
