Antonnick Posted August 9, 2019 Share Posted August 9, 2019 I have been trying to align the bonnet again and have noticed that on the right side when in the open Position, that it is much looser than the left side. Then I noticed that the right Hand stiffener is broken and has had attempts to weld it in the past. I find it difficult to determine from either Canleys or Rimmers diagrammes what the component is. 😩. It appears to be tack welded on to the back side of the front grille and there are two bolts for Fixing to a plate welded on to the "Bonnet hinge plate assembly". Could this be part number 704087 ? (canleys say that this is only for a 1200) or is it 611292? I suppose I will probably have to make a piece myself anyway as both are non available.
