Wiring Looms

During the course of the lengthy restoration of the Estate, major parts of the wiring loom have gone walkies. Suppliers have asked us for the original as a pattern but we are unable to supply it all. Can anyone recommend a solution?  Does anyone else lose parts off the car when working on them? We lost all the doors at one point. How can anyone lose something so substantial? They reappeared eventually. Fortunately. I'm sure the wiring loom might reappear too, but time is not on my side. I need this estate on the road ASAP as Alex is about to go into a bigger car seat and the Acclaim is a real squash with a pair of them on the back seat.

I presume you've tried the guys from Derby (?) called Wiring Looms or something obvious ... they go to all the shows.
I'm not suggesting they might have misappropriated yours of course, but that they might have the ability to 'knock' a new loom up :-)

oh, and by the way ... you've probably put it somewhere "safe" so that you don't forget where it is. Inside one of the doors?

Everything's always somewhere safe! We can't find it in our garage or at the people restoring the car. It's probably been shoehorned into an A35 or something by mistake.

Wins & Co is normally a good source of S/H parts. They might have a loom.

ps for the PI bit you want to have an uprated wire feeding the PI pump and a relay to switch this feed via the ignition and inertia switches (hope that makes sense?).

Google 'Autosparks'- they sell full looms- be the best thing to fit as old looms tend to have been poorly modified.

Autosparks have a good reputation.

Otherwise try Witor or Rimmers?
