Keith
I've been thinking about the run and the food laid on at various points around the country by our organisers, and wondering whether other participants look forward to the same culinary highlights as I do.The breakfast at the Seaview Hotel in my view is the best meal of the trip, fom the time that dawn breaks over Inverness I can almost smell the bacon and eggs, a cooked breakfast can never taste better than when you've driven all night for it!Even better than this though, has to be the Scotch Pies provided by Val Morrison at Stirling, I don't know what's in them, probably all sorts of dodgy meat products packed with variant CJD, but I've found that there's nothing better to set you up for the nights drive ahead.I missed out on these last year due to having to fix a leaking water pipe, by the time I got in they'd all gone, so please, please, please, if I'm out in the car park desperately trying to fix something on the car, don't eat the last one!Keith

heraldhabitat
The meat in Scotch pies is mutton, and I quite like them myself, haggis however is another matter....... :XChris
