Route from Pimperne?

Is it true we're going to Didcot from Pimperne?  Does that mean we're still going through Salisbury then A303/A34?   Just trying to organise some 'viewing' for my sponsors!

Usually I do not like to disclose the route, but its an open secret that the TR Reg. offices at Didcot are being used as a control.

Cars will be passing through Salisbury, along the usual route through the city and then out onto the A30. Salisbury is always one of the pinch points of the route as it always seems to be such a busy place on a Sunday.

We have attempted to reduce the M25 mileage this time.

It's a shame I didn't know the Salisbury problem earlier. I could do you a cracking route around the north of Salisbury using some great back lanes to the A303 but it's probably too late for the route book.  PM me if you're interested though. I could survey it tomorrow!

Thanks for the offer, however the Roadbook is on the way to the printers.

Basically the route goes from Salisbury up the A30, then into Over Wallop to Tidworth to Hungerford to Didcot to Chinnor to Aston Clinton to the M25 jct 20 etc.

Thought so, never mind.  Let me know if want me survey anything vaguely Somerset/Dorset/Hants/Wilts for 2010.  There's some really good scenic roads with hairpin bends, hills etc. in my patch.
