Ben Hutchings
Damn that M25! we were on schedule for 18:55 then lost 20 mins. Oh well.. SO good to have a pint when we got in the Plough.
Jason
The beer was good wasn't it? What a great run, loved every minute of it once I'd got over the whole DOA car thing :-)Oh and as for GT6 cockpit heat - I actually used the heather in Scotlandshire! Sad git that I am.They were about 4 miles in front of you on the M25, then turned east around Heathrow, then headed north east through London. You guys used James's short-cut from last year, then got back on the M25 and overtook and finished before the Acclaimers by a country mile.Well done all of you.Quote:Oh and as for GT6 cockpit heat - I actually used the heather in Scotlandshire!Steady! Sailing close to the wind there, Jason. And yes, we use it for wiping our a***s too! ;)McJim
Ben Hutchings
Haha yes that short cut worked a treat to make up about 10 mins. Had we had stayed on the M25 and not exited at the M40 we would have been at the Plough at about 7:30!I quite enjoyed flooring it off the 25 until JC said "uh this bend gets tighter" and we sort of hung on and trust in the rubber. Caroline
That short cut should be in the route book - the M25 was terrible and I didn't have a proper map or knowledge of how to make a short cut. Next time?!
