Dicky Blighter Posted April 10, 2007 Share Posted April 10, 2007 Finally got round to pulling gearbox and clutch out on Sunday (it's only been slipping for a year!) I'm not sure what I need to replace it as I have a standard 3 rail gearbox (10 spline shaft) mated to a 1500 YC series engine (Toledo?)The clutch plate is 6.5" inch diameter Borg & Beck with the number 51520 on the flywheel side and 51521 on the other.The cover is also Borg & Beck and says Type 6-61/2 DS.I'm guessing it's a standard 1300 Spitfire clutch and the replacement engine has had the 1300 flywheel fitted.Can anyone confirm?
