sexysi
Does anyone know if the dolomite shocks / fr and rear fit the TR7, ie: are they the same parts.sexysi
Raider
I don't but I would doubt it, especially at the front.

mikeyb
I can confirm that's a no! Dolomite is a combined spring/shock unit front and rear, TR7 has a proper Macpherson strut at the front and the spring and shock are separate at the rear. TR7 rear shocks are the same as 2000/2.5 and Stag I believe, the fronts I think are unique. Worn shox can be cured by inserts though - you don't need the whole strut.RgdsMike! Speedyblue
I have Stag strut inserts in the front of my TR7. Diameter wise, they fit, but length wise they are shorter. I had my strut tubes shortened to suit. Now I have less suspension droop when you jack the car up.
bmcecosse
Less droop is always a good idea!

Fronts are also unique to the TR7.

Beans
Just checked the Koni site, also different dampers for TR7 and 2000/2500/Stag ...
bmcecosse
They may be same dimensions - with different valving for the perceived different style/weight of the car.
