Richard_M
I'm in the process of rebuilding a mk3 engine, and will change the cam from original mk3 to an 'alternative'.Question is, should I replace the cam bearings at the same time?It makes sense go, but I get the impression from following the cam changes of others that people rarely do. It seems logical that cam bearings wear much less than those around the crank so.....Thoughts?Richard
thescrapman
Only Mk3 spits have cam bearings, so that is why not many people appear to change them, as most can't.They are pretty cheap, so I would change them (I did mine when I rebuilt the engine last)CheersColin
Richard_M
Don't forget the 1300 FWD :)I'll change them then - seems churlish not to.Thanks Colin
