Greenie
At last the Hurricane resto project is making some progress. I'm still working on the running gear and have had a few setbacks because of poor quality parts.I'll put a few updates and pictures on from time to time.It looks a lot better than it actually was in the 'before' pictures... rotoflex
That green is a good color for the car. It's interesting how it resembles the Aston Martin DB3S from the front & in general proportions.

Greenie
I was really in two minds about that colour but the more I see it, the better it gets. It's still a bit pea green but as I add brightwork etc it looks better.

Jaydub
Glad to see you're getting somewhere with it - looks like a nice paint job, something mine desperately needs... I see you are over Bristol, I'm only North Wilts so if you need another for comparison etc....
Greenie
Hi Jaydub,That would be very useful thanks, there's a quite few things I'm not too sure about at this stage. I'm near Yate, about 15 mins from J18.CheersSimon
Jaydub
Hi ya, Sorry for the late reply been working on my winter project (a logburner in the lounge). I've P.M.ed you my details so I'll hopefully be able to pop over at some point - not used the Hurricane for a few months since I bought a Subaru pick up for winter use, I could do with sticking a battery on it and giving it a run.See you've got an old Austin as well, I've got a '36 16/6 with 4.2 Jaguar running gear - we'll have to compare!
