  1. Cheers Tim. Did you think we'd miss it. We have unfinished business with the TR. Saying that, I've still not got the Moss Roadster back together after our attempt in that how ever many years ago. But one day that will make it round
  2. Number of TRs of all variety look a bit lower this time round. Plus only one Acclaim, are the numbers of them declining generally?
  3. Had a quick look at hotels for the Thurs and Sunday nights. Only thing I can find regarding the Novotel is that it's closed. Shame as it is very handy with plenty of parking
  4. I've not had email confirmation for my second driver. Had receipt for payment and he's now showing on the entry list. So I'll take that
  5. That was a bit manic, especially having to go back and add co-driver. But all sorted now. Looking forward to it and the car moves under own power too
  6. Yes, see that. Went back in and there was more options. Second driver now added phew
  7. How do you do that? I didn't see anywhere to add co-drivers Is my entry still valid? How do I now add second driver and payment?
  8. I'm a little confused, I've done my entry and paid. But it only asked for my details not my co driver and only charged £100. Have I done something wrong? I'm on the list at 36
  9. Hope I can manage to do it on my phone......... .....sure I'll manage. Fingers crossed
  10. Question...... In every thing I've seen it says entry opens at 7.00pm tonight. But I've just got an email from organising team and it says 7.30pm
  11. Yes it would, mine has broken on the back, basically the securing screw at some point has been overtightened and snapped the collar thingy
  12. Might be a silly question but can you confirm the date? Reason I ask as the article in new edition is as you've got above, but in the calendar section of the excellent Club Torque it says 3rd/4th June
  13. Yeah realise may have to swap wires around, as long as it physically fits to the column. I'm sure I'll find something
  14. Is the indicator stalk on a late TR7 used on any other BL car?
  15. I've completed major job of swapping rear axle. I've even had a brief drive in it. Not sure it'll be one colour, it may be a variation of the colour scheme of the last one. Really need to do an update for Club Torque
  16. Well I've counted the teeth and it's a 3.9:1 I'm guessing the part numbers listed are for crown wheel AND pinion set.
  17. I've got a 2nd hand axle for my TR7 after one fitted died big time. The fresh one feels very good. I've removed the rear cover and found part number on the crown wheel, but I can't find reference to that number on any parts list. Doing a basic turn pinion and count rotation of the hub it looks to be about 4:1 so I'm guessing it's 3.9:1 But mystery continues...... Part number stamped on crown wheel is TKC0901 - DDD Scribed next to it is 4 13 Any suggestions to what I actually have. I'm going to try and count teeth on both pinion and crown wheel
  18. I've started getting the TR sorted........ should have it ready in time
  19. Oops should have said late 5 speed
  20. Looks like pinion bearing has collapsed on my TR7. I've not stripped it yet to see what the damage is. But I'm probably going to be on the hunt for a diff' or axle. Location can to some extent be overcome as I work over a large amount of the country. Should have bought a spare when S&S were selling them off.
  21. I'd best think about getting the car ready. It should be mechanically sound but not sure if it'll be all one colour, it may still be the multi colours of the last one
  22. On my first TR7 I fitted a Rimmer stainless exhaust. I vowed never ever again would I buy one of their exhausts. The fit of it was terrible the bends were wrong so I had to make it fit, speaking with them on the phone wasn't much help either. Wouldn't accept that it didn't fit correctly just kept saying we've sold loads and had no complaints. Yes S&S might nor have an online catalogue like Rimmers, but just pick up the phone and speak with Steve he will advise on what would be best to suit your application. If you buy from him it will fit first time and a good chance be cheaper than Rimmer
