I used a wire with cord attached . I also threw away the night dimming connection box. join the wires together.

I have fitted some EX GT6 wire wheels(3000 miles) but did not do much driving on them yet . In Ireland most driving is at 60 mph down long straight roads ,motor way , ruff roads. So not many corners .

Wot is the story .I see on face book that wire wheels give you bad handling and are worn out after 10,000 miles . Is this completely true.!!!!!

All was looking good, then . The bolt in the new oil filter cover is to short . I guess that there is an adapter that screws in first . So for the engine refit its standard filter and change when i get the bit.

Before I take out the Ally Plug I need to be sure that there is a thread in these engines at this place.

I will check the bit in light of your comments. Also if I remove the aluminium plug is there a tapped hole in all these blocks or will I be trying to tap a bsp thread by hand on the side of the block. PS thanks Lads.

The BSP tapped hole above the pressure relief valve is common to the pressure relief valve . Therefore it is at is a pressure port . Earlier I thought that this was just vented to the sump .

Yes I think that is back into the pressure system, will check.

The proposed layout is above ^ it was designed for a MK3 GT6 ,it takes oil from the top of the filter bowl runs it through the oil cooler and back into the side of the block ,to drain back into the sump. I got this " rare filter bowl new from Mike Dolphin and really like the look of it on the car .My problem is ,I don,t know how it works , or if it is just a bad idea or needs a little help.

Are these oil coolers running under pressure or is it atmospheric . Mine will be taking oil from the top of the filter bowl .Has any one a video or photo of oil flow round a 6 cyl engine.
