Good vid.  Not one oath either (or he edited them all out.... I did catch something about "take 5").

Sure it's possible at home with the right tool.  Even easier if you undo the hub nut before jacking the car up and removing the wheel  ;)  I have also seen a modified hub puller with a tube welded to it to hold a jam bar making messing about with clamps unnecessary.

Use a square hub puller, then it can all be done in a vice. Even easier still. When I was helping KD out I was doing a complete shaft assembly in less than ten minutes from shaft complete from flange to drum brake and taking it to component pieces.

It does help to have the right tools though...

I did this last summer for people asking I did the whole car in no time at all.

Don't know if you need to sign in to view the pictures or not.

i can no lnger add to that thread as it is locked, however for refrence the 205 50 15 tyres on the back had no issues with my standard 1500 setup did not catch once even with a boot full of camping stuff and a lot of hard driving
