Rear spring raising block

When converting rear suspension from fixed spring to later swing spring, can a spring raising block between the diff and the spring be used to lower the ride height (with similar effects) as used on fixed spring installations?

dont forget to check the rear wheel toe in after fitting the block as it will change
due to the angular change to the tie rods   Peter

Worth running without the block initially, just to get a feel for the change. And remember if you use a block you may well need extended studs to fit the spring.
And lastly do not forget the front ARB MUST be fitted too.
