Twincarb Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 When rebuilding the rear spring Haynes says to use Graphite grease... What is the best grease to use? Would Moly grease serve the same purpose?
hypoid53 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 What's wrong with graphite as recommended by Triumph? It is mainly used, and is available thesedays, from motorcycle stores and does the job. My Spitfire 1500 spring is 10 years on and the leaves are still sliding nicely!
