TRad
I'm upgrading the front end of my tr7 and want to put Kyb and dynamic polybushes on it. I have 200lb 1 inch lowered springs on rear. I've been recommended 240lb at the front at standard ride height but need to have them made up. Anyone know the free length measurement? Beans
Will be difficult to get these dimensions as 240 lbs springs aren’t what you call standard equipment. They were used on the TR7 Sprint rally cars though (STR423; 240 lbs fitted length ±7.30", standard early TR ±6.70")Maybe Martin R (aka Raider) can give these dimensions as I think he has 240 lbs springs fitted to BRP.Otherwise you’ll have do some maths based on your current 200 lbs springs ... TRad
Cheers Theo.Cna I just clarify what those 7.60 etc dimensions mean?
Beans
The fitted length is the distance between top and bottom of the springs, measured with the springs loaded (so with the car on it's wheels on a level surface)
