chunky63 Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 Hi all,I would like to remove the Wolfrace wheels from my GT6 Mk2 and go back to standard steels. The manual says that they should be 4-1/2 J and have hub caps and slotted trims.I am not a fan of the optional rostyle trims and although I'd love to have wires they are a long way down my shopping list.Are the slotted trims correct?Is this the correct standard set up?Are 4-1/2J wheels only fitted to GT6 and Vitesse?ThanksJon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RobPearce Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 I think the rostyle are the correct original fit for a Mk2 but I fully understand your dislike of them. The Mk1 had chrome hubcaps, probably with thin aluminium ring trims, which may have been rectangular slotted rather than the ring of circular holes that Vitesses had.The GT6 and Vitesse should have 4-1/2J wheels, as should Herald estates.
